Not the ugly girl at the party
I got these bars in black for a "low budget" sportster build I'm working on. They fit on my 2003 Sportster Hugger, which had stock buckhorn bars on it, without replacing any cables. At first it was hard to tell if the drag bar was a great product or if it was like the ugly girl at the party who's standing next to an uglier girl and ends up looking not half bad. The uglier girl being those pitted chrome buckhorns...but I ended up coming to the conclusion the drag bars are great and here's a few reasons why. The install only required bending the brake line a bit to bring in the right hand controls and sliding the bars left and right a bit to get everything in place, overall easy and took about 30 min. The black finish on the bars is very durable and didn't scratch or chip during my less than delicate install. What sealed the deal was that it feels like a new bike with the new bars and looks like it too. I'm 5'11" and the bars brought me forward just enough that it rides sportier but doesn't kill my back. I'm very happy with my purchase, thanks for a great product RYCA and I look forward to using many others to complete my build.
